Accepting Responsibility
It gives me great pleasure beautiful Sons and Daughters
of God to speak to all of you through this chosen vessel here today. Let us
begin by giving thanks to the gift of a new day God has bestowed upon each of
you, a new day to grow, a new day to develop and to learn from the endless
opportunities presented to you.
We ask you to think what it means to be responsible. For
you to be responsible, what does this include? It is vital for each of you to
comprehend that responsibility is a virtue that is becoming less noticed as
more and more lovely souls are seeking in a rush to be this or to be that, or
to replace what is convenient over responsibility. We really encourage you to
think hard, honestly and truthfully what areas in your life require you to be
more responsible. As it is understood that the world you live in is a
reflection of you. Therefore if you are seeing other lovely souls acting in an
irresponsible way, what does this indicate about yourself?
When you are responsible in all ways, you are
demonstrating you are also very much aware and mindful of not only yourself but
of those around you regardless of the distance. The true virtue of
responsibility is also a moral quality that is used to stand alongside God’s
Word. There are many dear and lovely souls that make a point to do good things
but they don’t necessarily stand alongside the true nature of God’s Word. It is
essential My Lovely Ones to understand your good deed is merely an action
derived from a compassionate impulse that doesn’t always include any real
heart-felt decision. When you are able to be unconditionally loving with your
giving, then your action of doing a good deed becomes an action of God working
through you.
It is understood there is a lot for you to consider and take in on any given day. When we speak of the human virtues, you know this is concerning solid attitudes, firm dispositions, habitual perfections of thinking and of your own will that directs your actions, what your passions command you and guide your behaviour that is in accordance to what your reasons are and to what you believe to be true. The human virtues when acted upon provide ease, control of emotional impulses and happiness that will help direct you to living a greater moral life.
Virtues My Lovely Ones make great guides. They will lead
towards freedom that is derived from your ability to control certain behaviours
and emotions. Living a life with compassion, responsibility, and an inner sense
of duty or service, the practice of self-discipline, honesty, loyalty, and
courage are just a few examples of necessary virtues that will aid in your
ability to provide yourself with a moral life. We know you are aware of the
basic virtues of Christ; prudence, fortitude, justice and temperance, then
there are the spiritual virtues of faith, hope and charity that are also
understood as love and these virtues My Lovely Ones are directly connected to
God, the Father of your creation. It is from your good actions of doing good
deeds unto others that you strengthen that virtue and it expands. Growth in any
virtue My Lovely Ones is an important goal along your journey that is met with
spiritual practices. The moral virtues you bring into effect require your heart
and soul effort and they will become the fruit and the seed of more good acts
to be done by you as within them, they organize your own powers to create a
divine union of love with God and all others.
If you don’t know what you are to be responsible for,
then how do you become responsible? Understand My Lovely Ones, your first step
towards taking responsibility will begin by becoming aware of your actions.
Truly try to comprehend the fact that consciously or even unconsciously every
action that comes from you, does affect others around you. How often are you
aware of your thoughts, of your words or even of your activities? Have you yet
realized that your words and actions have affected those you work with, friends
and even family members? Or perhaps you have become much too involved in
yourself to recognize that others have feelings and their feelings are
important. Your actions, your words and your thoughts you are responsible for.
Don’t continue ignoring your behaviour or ways when you know by your careful
observance that they require a little fine-tuning. Become more mindful of the
words you say as they can either inflict serious harm or provide warmth and
understanding and remember the actions you commit can provide hurt as well or
you can choose to express your actions with love and compassion – this is your
choice and your responsibility.
My Lovely Ones, there are many questions here for you to
think about and we have another, think about what you are responsible for. Do
you have responsibilities at your workplace, at home, possibly at school or at
another place that requires your presence? What has your Heavenly Father given
to you to be responsible for? As you answer the questions that are left here
for you to ponder upon, give honest and sincere answers and when you do, you will
quickly ascertain which responsibilities you may have slacked on that require
your attention. When you are taking responsibility for all that you are you are
being in the present.
How often My Lovely Ones have you chosen to be
irresponsible because you felt like being lazy or you were feeling indifferent
and uncaring? When asked to do a favour, how often do you refuse? And how often
have you observed something that needed your attention, but you chose to not
act? We know it can be tiring to wash the dishes or to tidy up every day, but
the sooner you do certain things that require your attention, they are done
because you took responsibility. Today we wish for you to think about what you
can be responsible for. What are the actions you can express today that can
correct any mistakes made yesterday or help to prevent uncertain mishaps
tomorrow? Think about when you are required to act responsibly. Seize the day,
make each a grand day and do all you can today that will help you to become a
more compassionate, loving and responsible lovely soul.
Of course, by taking responsibility you understand you
may face a certain amount of humility. When you are being responsible for your
actions it can be very embarrassing and often humiliating. Mistakes are bound
to occur, as they are natural and part of how you gain knowledge. By your
willingness to accept responsibility you are agreeing to improve your integrity
and integrity is a wonderfully divine virtue to attain. Integrity speaks in
loud volumes My Lovely Ones when you manage responsibility. Be brave and
courageous when you accept the magnitudes of your actions, then move on. We
encourage each of you to not deny the wrongs you have done or to hide from
them, simply accept them. If you choose to hide from them, you will not reach
the higher objective and reason of your experience and what can easily occur is
you repeating the same error. The sooner you accept your responsibility, and
the sooner you learn all you can from the experience get up and move on with
your life and journey. It is okay for your ego to get shoved around once in a
while, your soul is at work here providing you gifts of growth and development
that include love and compassion for yourself and for all others and for this
love-filled reason, your ego has no place.
We encourage you My Lovely Ones, the next time you find
yourself in a situation that can use your responsibility, don’t run away or
hide. Be courageous and face the situation with love knowing full well your
Heavenly Father is there with you, working through your heart in all your
actions, words, thoughts and feelings and with His loving support you will know
which choice to make that will be of the highest of good. You are all true
children of God, you may not have found this divine side of yourself, but we
know it is there and in time so will you; just know it is magnificent and
precious just as the time spent with you here today.
My love is with you,
